The Department of Human Development and Family studies is now offering students who serve as mentors in the program the possibility to earn a certificate in youth mentoring. The certificate is an opportunity for students to make a change in the lives of adolescents while gaining valuable professional skills.
Colorado State University faculty in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies partnered with CSU Extension’s Garfield County 4-H to create a peer mentoring training toolkit that 4-H agents can use to build a peer mentoring program from scratch.

Colorado State University’s Campus Connections youth mentoring program has been named a regional winner of the 2019 W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Engagement Scholarship Award by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.
