‘Rising Star’ designers got their start in CSU’s Interior Architecture and Design program

It is no question that CSU’s Department of Design and Merchandising’s Interior Architecture and Design program consistently produces leaders in the industry – students and alumni often receive state-wide and national recognition. The latest to be recognized is Chelsey Beardsley, a junior in the program, and alumna Alex Kirby (B.S., ’20), who were both highlighted by the Colorado chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) as Rising Stars.

The two recently sat down with Home & Garden Colorado magazine to discuss their journeys in the world of interior architecture and design, their creative processes, and the honor of receiving the ASID Rising Star Awards. Find Beardsley and Kirby’s full features on the Home & Garden Colorado magazine website.

The Department of Design and Merchandising is part of CSU’s College of Health and Human Sciences.
