Each year, the CSU College of Health and Human Sciences recognizes a graduating senior for their outstanding academic achievement and leadership. This year, Department of Design and Merchandising student Sara Bovaird has been selected to receive the Outstanding Senior award.
Last year, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, CSU Department of Design and Merchandising students brainstormed creative ways to showcase their work while unable to meet in person. The solution was a virtual show highlighting student work and the senior class of students in the Interior Architecture and Design Program.
Eunwoo Sam Jun has come a long way to get to graduation. Jun graduates this fall with a degree in interior architecture and design and is a first-generation college student, an international student from South Korea, a veteran, and an undergraduate researcher.
CSU interior architecture and design students have used 3D technology to document historic architecture both on the CSU campus and in Sterling, CO. The documentation has been compiled into an architectural virtual library aimed at sharing Colorado's architectural history and as an architectural resource for the community.
The CSU Tiny House is finished, furnished, and certified by the National Organization of Alternative Housing! Don't miss your chance to tour the tiny house or purchase it to make it your home. All proceeds from the tiny house sale will benefit the educational mission of the Nancy Richardson Design Center and fund the project for next year. The tiny house project is a life-changing learning opportunity for students in a range of disciplines.
