Jordan’s commitment to using business to positively impact people, communities, and their environment has led to New Belgium Brewing serving as a model for how progressive businesses can thrive with a triple bottom line: people, planet, and profits. Her social work-inspired, human-centered philosophy led to New Belgium Brewing operating as an employee-owned, Certified B-corp, utilizing open book management, philanthropic giving, extended leave policies, carbon-neutral brewing, and more.

The October 27 event is part of the Leadership in Social Work Speaker Series, presented by the Center for Lifelong Learning, Outreach, and Education in the School of Social Work and sponsored by the Fornaro Family Leadership Program.

Currently, Jordan serves on the CSU Board of Governors. She also served in leadership roles on many non-profit and corporate Boards including 1% for the Planet and the Governor’s Renewable Energy Authority Board. Jordan directs her time where she believes her experience can make a difference at scale on important issues.

Along with her two sons, Jordan launched the Mighty Arrow Family Foundation in 2013 to further their social and environmental impact through mission-aligned investing and philanthropy.
