Interim Director Albert Bimper

From the Interim Director Albert Bimper

It has been my absolute pleasure and honor to serve as interim director of Colorado State University’s School of Education these past few months. While I transition from CSU to serve as the next executive dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University of North Texas, I want to express my deep appreciation and gratitude to the SOE faculty for their tremendous efforts throughout the spring semester to strengthen the future of the School of Education.

I am exceedingly proud of the work we accomplished together that will enable the school to advance our institution’s land-grant mission as they continue to prepare educators, counselors, and leaders for Colorado and beyond. I’m pleased to let you know that this work to develop a long-term vision for the school will continue under the leadership of the next interim director, Dr. Mary Pedersen. Dr. Pedersen joins us from the CSU Office of the Provost where she has been serving as special adviser to the provost. Dr. Pedersen will begin her two-year appointment on July 1.

Thank you to the SOE and the College of Health and Human Sciences leadership team for entrusting me to lead the school during this period. I know the SOE will be in good hands under Dr. Pedersen’s leadership.

Go Rams!
