Demand for CM graduates and interns remains high

The Department of Construction Management hosted its Fall Career Fair on Tuesday, September 26th at the Fort Collins Hilton. The Phelps Placement Office organized the event, which featured 96 tables which were booked within 24 hours of registration opening, showing the industry demand for the best and brightest CSU has to offer. Nearly six hundred students attended. While primarily construction management majors, a number of business, engineering, and interior design majors also attended.

Student clubs help out

In addition to the work by the Phelps Placement Office, several CM student clubs helped prepare attendees for the fair. Prior to the event, Sigma Lambda Chi held a resume review and Women in Construction offered an interview prep session. On the day of, the CM Student Board of Directors offered a walk-through service for new students, showing them around and introducing them to attending companies.

Registration for the Spring 2018 Career Fair will open in early December and is expected to sell-out quickly.
