The Construction Management Student Board of Directors held its bi-annual CM Social and Club Information Fair on Wednesday, September 6th in the Industrial Sciences Lab.
The Social brings together the 12 construction management clubs for a meet-and-greet with students. The clubs represent various industry sectors and provide several valuable services to their members. They offer the opportunity to gain industry-specific exposure through club-sponsored activities and mentorship. They help keep members informed of current developments in the sector. Finally, they promote professionalism and engagement within the student body.
In addition to the academic and professional growth offered, club involvement is a great way to build the ties and friendships that are one of the hallmarks of the department. The strong attendance at the event demonstrates the recognition of attendees of the value gained from active engagement in their education.
