The Downtown Development Authority and the Urban Lab are hosting an event on Friday, Dec. 7, to provide senior landscape architecture students at CSU with the opportunity to showcase their ideas and designs for Fort Collins' various "microspaces" in Old Town — areas like alleys, traffic islands and street medians that are underutilized and neglected.
In July, a group of 17 kids between the ages of 11 and 15 participated in a new, free summer program offered by Colorado State University’s Institute for the Built Environment to work with youth on improving shared community outdoor areas.
