Beginning next fall, CSU is expanding its existing Rams Read program into an inclusive, university-wide Thematic Year aligned with Courageous Strategic Transformation.

Kim Tobin has announced her departure from CSU to become Michigan State University’s next vice president of university advancement. Tobin, who currently serves as CSU’s vice president for university advancement, joined CSU in 2003.

"It is with deep sorrow that I share with you all today that Mary Ontiveros, the founding Vice President for Diversity at Colorado State University, died this past weekend surrounded by her family," said President Joyce McConnell in a message to the CSU community.

Each year, students, faculty, and alumni nominate teachers who’ve inspired them and made an impact in their lives for the Best Teacher Awards. The 2022 recipients of the Best Teacher Awards, representing six colleges, will be celebrated March 30 at the Best Teacher Awards banquet.
Effective immediately, Colorado State University will follow the Centers for Disease Control guidelines for high-transmission areas on all our campuses in Larimer County. This means that we will continue to require masks in all indoor areas until the Larimer County transmission levels fall below “substantial” as set forth by the CDC.
Seidel, who came to CSU in 1971 and remained an active and contributing member of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences until his passing in September 2021, will be awarded the 2022 Founders Day Medal.
