Background and education

Andrews was born in Savannah, Georgia, and lived in South Carolina all through grade school. He received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and a Master of Arts in media and communications from East Tennessee State University.

During and after college, Andrews spent years building and developing his own video and photography business as well as many years doing customer service, marketing, and community engagement. He has experience managing several social media accounts across multiple platforms and enjoys being able to take a small brand and help them grow.

“My personal social media accounts have over 35,000 followers across the board, all of which have daily content and engagement,” said Andrews. “I have every intention of bringing that same level of success, exposure and interaction to the Avenir brand!”

Entertainment and film industry experience

Andrews has also spent close to a decade in the film and entertainment industry, while simultaneously performing stand-up comedy all over the country. You can find him in many programs including: “Homicide Hunter,” “Fatal Attraction,” and various other programs that air on the Investigation Discovery network.

Please join the Avenir Museum staff and the Department of Design and Merchandising in welcoming Andrews to Fort Collins and to CSU – stop in and say “hi” anytime during the Avenir Museum hours. He has many exciting and fun things in the works for the museum and is always happy to meet and work with new people!
