KRNC Student Spotlight: Stephanie Kent

Stephanie Kent is our April  2023 KRNC Student Spotlight!

Stephanie Kent is from Kansas City, Missouri. She working towards obtaining her Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences.

Stephanie is working with KRNC to complete her final project on their Healthy You program. She is planning to focus her project on Type 2 Diabetes and weight stigmas as this aligns with her future goals of becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).

Stephanie remarks, “I love working at the KRNC because every day presents a new learning opportunity. I am grateful to be able to shadow the RDs and get a sense of what my future career will be like. I also love working with members of our community and university helping with cooking classes and in the food pantry.”

The Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center is a part of the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition in CSU’s College of Health and Human Sciences.
