KRNC Student Spotlight: Brenna Johnson

Brenna Johnson is the January 2023 KRNC Student Spotlight!

Brenna Johnson is from Roseville, California, and is a fourth year undergraduate student completing a degree in Nutritional Sciences/pre-health nutrition.

Brenna is very passionate about human physiology and nutrition’s role in human health. Her interest in the field of applied nutrition and medicine has sparked her interest to pursue medical school in the future. She currently works as a Nutrition Assistant for University of Colorado Health, and enjoys being able to interact with patients and learn more about clinical nutrition. Brenna is very passionate about working to help other people and thinks nutrition is a vital aspect of healthcare.

Brenna remarks, “One of my favorite aspects of the Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center was being able to observe and understand key nutrition counseling techniques. I want to work with people in my future career, and this semester provided such great firsthand experience into the realm of patient care. I am very grateful to the KRNC for teaching me so many valuable counseling skills and tactics that I will use moving forward into future careers.”

The Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center is a part of the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition in CSU’s College of Health and Human Sciences.
