KRNC Student Spotlight: Annie Campain

Annie Campain is the December 2021 KRNC Student Spotlight!

Annie Campain is a native of Northern Colorado, having lived here her entire life. She grew up in Windsor, but now lives in Fort Collins with her roommate and golden retriever. Congratulations to Annie, who recently graduated with an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Science!

Campain has been working in the Systems Thinking for Obesity Prevention lab under Dr. Megan Mueller, where she is helping with a study focused on reducing sugar-sweetened beverage intake in restaurant settings. However, her true interest lies in researching, preventing, and treating eating disorders.

In the future, Annie hopes to work clinically (as an RDN or Psychologist) with individuals afflicted by eating disorders.

Annie explains, “My favorite part of KRNC is shadowing appointments because it allows me to gain unique experience and insight into the counseling process.”
