KRNC November Student Spotlight: Violet Virnich

This November, we are celebrating Violet Virnich as our Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center Student Spotlight.

student of the month violet vitnich

Violet Virnich is a fourth-year undergraduate student studying nutrition and food science, with a focus on dietetics. Virnich is a Colorado native, originally from Denver.

On top of her studies, she is involved in the Functional Foods and Human Health Research Lab at Colorado State University. Her area of interest in nutrition is holistic nutrition and maternal health.

After graduating, Virnich hopes to open her own private practice that is focused on her above interests. She is also passionate about working as a consultant for The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).

At the Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center, she has loved the opportunity to experience the deep connections between the dietitians and patients.

“Moments that make everyone laugh, create inspiration to change, discover emotional barriers and hardships, or just connect about a love and discovery of health have been so deeply moving to me – and have proven I’m on the right career path,” said Virnich.

On top of this, she has loved hosting our virtual cooking classes!
