Decreasing pain intensity and disability related to pain
The Promoting Healthy Aging and Families Research Laboratory is seeking participants for a study that is testing a unique intervention of gentle exercise and education for pairs who experience chronic pain.
Am I a candidate?
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- You are an adult who experiences chronic pain, and so does your caregiver
- Or, You are an adult who experiences chronic pain, and so does the person who provides care to you.

Cardiovascular Health in Postmenopausal Women
The Functional Foods & Human Health Laboratory in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Colorado State University is seeking volunteers to participate in a study investigating the ability of blueberries to improve cardiovascular health in postmenopausal women with elevated blood pressure or stage 1-hypertension. Participants will receive up to $200.
Am I a candidate?
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Postmenopausal women aged 45-65 years
- Elevated blood pressure or stage 1-hypertension (systolic blood pressure 120-139 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure < 90 mmHg)
- Exclusion criteria apply and will be evaluated through a phone and in-person screening

Cardiovascular and Gastrointestinal Health
The Functional Foods & Human Health Laboratory in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Colorado State University is currently seeking participants for a research study examining the dose-dependent effects of an aronia berry dietary supplement (also known as chokeberry) on cardiovascular and gastrointestinal health. Participants will receive up to $300.
Am I a candidate?
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Men and postmenopausal women between the ages of 45-75 years
- Body mass index (BMI) between 18.5-30 kg/m2
- Exclusion criteria apply and will be evaluated through a phone and in-person screening
