Center for Healthy Aging finalist to speak at open forum Dec. 20

XinQi Dong

The CSU Columbine Health Systems Center for Healthy Aging is hosting an open forum with Dr. XinQi Dong, finalist for the director position, on Wednesday, Dec. 20, from 2 to 3 p.m., in the Lory Student Center, room 312.

Dong is a professor of internal medicine, behavioral sciences and nursing at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He serves as director of the Chinese Health, Aging and Policy Program and associate director of the Rush Institute for Healthy Aging. His research focuses on the epidemiological studies of aging population, with emphasis on the intersections of culture, violence, and health outcomes.

Faculty and researchers who are working on issues related to aging are invited to join the discussion related to the vision for the center.
