Karen Rattenborg is being recognized with the 2018 Spirit of Philanthropy Award for all the ways she supports CSU. The award was presented by the Division of University Advancement at the Celebrate! CSU event on April 11.
The long-awaited teaching brewery in Colorado State University’s Ramskeller was unveiled April 9 when students, donors and other project partners offered a toast to the future brewers who will be trained on the system.
At a beam-raising ceremony marking a major milestone in construction of the Richardson Design Center at Colorado State University, two interior design students thanked Nancy and Curt Richardson and other donors for making the new facility possible.
After earning three degrees from CSU's Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Karen Morris-Fine led a successful career as a toxicologist for major companies like Coca-Cola and The Boeing Company. Now in retirement, Morris-Fine is leading by example to support research at CSU.
“Ben was a real social worker,” Georgia Granger said remembering her husband. “He loved the students; he wanted to teach them all he could. He wanted them to look at the people, see what they are really like and help them with whatever needs they had.”
The Department of Construction Management recently unveiled The CM Cares Pillar Partner Endowment Wall as its newest addition to the Preconstruction Building.
