The 2019-20 CSU Occupational Therapy cohorts are hosting their 7th Annual Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) Silent Auction: Spring Carnival. Over the past seven years, SOTA has organized a silent auction to raise money to support students participating in professional development opportunities outside of the program’s curriculum requirements. In recent years, students have used this support to attend national and regional conferences as well as workshops.
This year’s silent auction is scheduled for Friday, March 1, in the Lory Student Center Theatre, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Some of the donated gifts to be included in the auction are ski lift tickets to A-Basin, Denver Zoo tickets, tickets and transportation to a Mishawaka Amphitheater show of choice, handcrafted jewelry from local artists, craft beer gift certificates, and more. SOTA will provide hors d’ oeuvres, a cash bar, live entertainment, and activities in addition to the auction.
Tickets for this event are $13 for a single ticket and $22 for a couple. Tickets can be purchased at the door, via Venmo at CSU_SOTA, or by sending cash or check to Saige McDonald or Jennifer Oakes.
RSVP at jennifer.oakes@colostate.edu, or saige.mcdonald@colostate.edu.
The Department of Occupational Therapy is part of CSU’s College of Health and Human Sciences.
